Sportz: Bill Russell deserves his propers

17 Jan

Another GREAT Aquarius Bill Russell deserves his propers for his commitment to greatness in the NBA.

I havent done a sports joint in a long time. It’s not much but i want to put some things into perspective.

People talk about Wilt, MJ, Kobe and Lebron. I don’t even see why they talk about Lebron but whatever. These guy all talk about MJ. I used to hate MJ. Until i realize his dominace as I became and adult. I’m happy to have seen him play live on NBA on NBC.

The greats always look up to one other guy. The ring master. Bill Russell. I never seen him play, and I used him on NBA 2K back in the day. As a true NBA fan and critic I have seen that it all comes down to the rings. Just like I had to humble myself and say MJ was killing my favored Knicks and Sixers and Pacers and winning chips I HAVE TO acknowledge the GREAT Bill Russell for his contribution to dominance in the NBA.  I mean 11 rings compared to everyone chasing 5…and then some.

Like all great dynasties his teams did not stay together and he lost his Coach Auerbach. Bill Russell’s list of accomplishments makes him a decorated monster in the leagues history. It’s a shame he wasn’t a Sixer and i wonder what number Dr J would wear if he did play for Philly. Here is the skinny.
